Above and Beyond...

Noble deeds are done every day if we look for them: neighbors helping each other or total strangers lending a hand. When working with various communities, Mario González, Library Director, has been generous with the contribution of his time, effort and hard work. Some of Mario's current activities include serving his fourth term as the elected Treasurer of the Orangeburg Library Board of Trustees, and a three-year term as an elected Councilor-at-Large for the American Library Association.
